Ethnography Touristic Values
In Alibunar municipality there are inhabited Serbs, Romanians, Slovaks and Roma, so their ethnical cultural characteristics can be understood based on this heterogenous structure. The ethnical varieties between numerous ethnical groups can be read on their attires. Those are attires from white fibres from flex, cotton or hemp, with strong gatthers and white or colored needlework, along with apron and belt ornated with various ornaments. Hoods and raincoats are made of stuff, caps from leather, which upon ornament variety define ethnical qualification. The huge number of West Morava immigrants, brought along their attires and customs, so nowdays we have great ethnical and cultural variety in small region.
There is great variety of customs, mostly relative to religious holidays. They lost their authenticity, but the tradition of celebrating some customs has never been off.
Banat cuisine is a tipical mixture of different influences. We have Serbian cuisine, on the part of Devojački bunar, where is considerable offer of gastronomy specialties, such as roe goulash, sheep goulash, rabbit perkelt, etc. On the othe hand, the German cuisine impact reflects in mixture of sweet and saulty (boiled meat and sweet sauce, roast meat and cherry salade). All kinds of pastas are present, and the most common cake is poppy strudel.
